Noor Puzzles

Privacy Policy

Noor Puzzles is made for children. It collects nothing.

Last updated 21 October 2026

The short version

Noor Puzzles does not collect, store or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs in the app. Everything a child does in the app stays on the device.

What the app keeps, and where

DataWhere it goes
SettingsSound, vibration, snap help and similar preferences are stored on the device only. Uninstalling removes them.
Photos you addWhen a grown-up adds a picture under "My Photos", Android's photo picker hands the app only that one picture. A copy is kept in the app's private storage on the device so it can be used as a puzzle. It is never uploaded anywhere. Long-press the photo to delete it; uninstalling removes all of them.
Puzzle progressNot saved and never sent anywhere.

Downloadable real photos

Each picture group has an optional "Real photos" section. Nothing downloads automatically. When someone taps a photo, the app downloads that one image directly from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org), the free media library run by the Wikimedia Foundation, and stores it on the device.

Like any web request, that download is seen by Wikimedia's servers, which receive the device's IP address and basic request information under the Wikimedia Foundation Privacy Policy. The app sends nothing else: no identifiers, no account, nothing about the child. We do not run any server and receive nothing ourselves.

This is the only time the app uses the internet.

Children's privacy

Noor Puzzles is designed for children and complies with the Google Play Families Policy. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing for a parent to review or delete with us. The app contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no chat or social features, and no links that take a child out of the app.

Permissions

PermissionWhy
InternetOnly to download a real photo when someone taps it.
VibrationA gentle buzz when a piece snaps into place. Can be turned off in settings.

The app does not ask for access to the camera, microphone, location, contacts or the photo library. Adding a photo uses Android's system photo picker, which shares only the picture you choose.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. We will not start collecting personal information without updating this policy first.
